Apparently, WinAmp has similar features as TuneUp.  However, if you use iTunes (and until the next megabyte-heavy iTunes version has these features), TuneUp really adds an extra something to iTunes.

To get the ball rolling for the next Smashing Pumpkins “album” (a 44-song collection in 11 EPs, released slowly), Billy Corgan and company have released the first song:  “Song for a Son.”
