Well, I think it’s best if we put this blog on hiatus, so we can focus on producing music, rather than commenting on the industry of selling music to audiences. We’ll be back hopefully soon, with a renewed focus!
DeRamos Media (the entity that runs this blog) has started another blog called FoodBoozeTunes. It is partly about tunes (and other pop culture), but it is mostly about food and booze. You can also check ‘em out on Twitter: @FoodBoozeTunes.

“It’s not the size of the pencil, it’s how big you write your name,” once said the music legend, who died Sunday, at the age of 67. Ronnie James Dio was the vocalist for several groups, such as:

In the meanwhile, check out their debut EP from last year: This Disaster (iTunes | AmazonMP3).
If you’re in New York, check out tonight’s moxy phinx show at Arlene’s Grocery. The Phinx herself has apparently relocated from the City of Angels to the Big Apple.

Two quick notes for this week:
The truth regarding the JC/BC split? A recent Rolling Stone feature on Billy Corgan shed some more information on the Smashing Pumpkins’ bandleader’s mindset, but mostly created lots of concern among the Pumpkins’ fan community. This community is unique in that it not only consists of die-hard pro-Corgan fans, but [...]
